       One of our Hostesses.

Hi all,  My name is Shana.  I host the Greeting Card and Die Cut Swaps.  Things are really picking up this year here on 2 Shabby Sisters and we are all glad to see new members joining and participating.  I esp look forward to those in my swaps.  At this time we are focusing on 1:1 swaps, but am open to group if you all want.  Well a little about me.  I am a Wife and Mother of 3, oops 4 now.   My oldest Son, a sailor recently married another wonderful girl in the Navy.  Well happy little newlyweds also are expanding there family and making me a GRANDMA.   At home my husband and I have 2 other great teenagers, all my children have been  and are homeschooled.  I am a RN by trade and work for a local hospital on nights, and teach LPN students on the side.

Well,  I just don't seem stay busy enough and love to use my free time papercrafting.  I love to make cards,  scrapbook some,  alter things here and there.   I really have enjoyed getting involved in lots of different craft opportunities, and to share in such wonderful art shared here.   I love watching YouTube videos, and hope that more of you will share your work thru pictures and videos.  We all learn from all levels of art.  I look forward to meeting more of you and hope to know you better.   Shana

Rules and Guidelines for 2 Shabby Sisters Studio

We would like for everyone who chooses to participate in swaps to know what we expect up front, so there is no confusion later.

After reading the guidelines and rules, please just leave a comment that you have read and understand the rules.

By doing so, we  will assume that you will abide by them, and understand the rules.

1. When you join a swap, you are entering into an agreement with your swap partner(s).

This agreement is your word that you will not flake on the swap, and you will give your best effort in making your swap items.

A good rule of thumb in knowing how much effort to put forth in a swap would be, would you give this to your mother? If not, don't mail it to your swap partners.

2. You agree to leave a message atleast weekly in the swap section where you have signed up so we all know that everyone is on the same page.

Your partner(s) like to know that everything is going fine!

You also agree to post your delivery confirmation number to the group once you have mailed, and also agree to post in the group when you have received your swap.

Doing so not only assures your partners that you have received your swap, but it also dispells and indication that you might not have liked what they gave you.

3. If a personal dispute arrises between you and your swap partner, please contact Debbi privately so that she can help you resolve the issue.

Crafting is supposed to be fun, and cause you happiness....not stress you out.

We are here to help with issues, we ask that you abide by this.

4. If you are contacted directly from another member for a private swap, you enter into this agreement knowing that this group will not be held responsible for the private swap if anything should go wrong.

Private swaps are a great way to meet people! We are not asking you to avoid them, we just want you to know that they are just that, private. We have no control over what you do in private.

We allow people up until the 5th of the month to drop from a swap if something comes up.

With that being said, we have a one stike policy when it comes to not completing a swap.

If you do not complete a swap you are in ( unless you have a valid reason), you will be banned from joining swaps for 3 months.

If you do not follow the rules regarding checking in weekly, posting a confirmation number or posting you have received your swap you will be given a warning.

If it happens again you will be banned from swaps for 3 months.

These rules may sound harsh, but swapping is not cheap. You buy supplies, and pay for postage. You have a right to expect to receive your swaps back in a timely fashion, and not have to worry if your partner is following through with their commitment.
